Your experience begins with a walk through Bend’s historic downtown district, exploring the legacy of the lumber era, the Deschutes River waterfront, early businesses, and the pioneers who helped build the city. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories of innovation, hardship, growth, and the characters who made Bend what it is today.
The tour includes a guided experience inside the Deschutes Historical Museum, where you’ll step deeper into Bend’s past through historic photographs, artifacts, and exhibits that bring the region’s story to life. Your ticket includes admission to the museum, allowing you to continue exploring after the guided portion of the tour.
